7th May: EJWG Convener Rezaul Karim Chowdhury termed the ADB’s climate fund which has announced in recently concluded Madrid meeting as a False Hope. He explained that as ADB’s  36 % project are failed and as it is giving importance to privatization and commercialization of people’s  basic services in its 2020 policies, as the privatization and commercialization of the sectors has leaded climate catastrophes in past it will lead the same in future too.

He commented as above while he was interviewed in the Radio Deutsche Welle Bangla Service. He also commented on the present post SIDR rehabilitation activities and people’s awareness on cyclone in coastal areas of Bangladesh. Please listen this in web link.
